NO LIMITS.......

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old
son picked stone & scratched lines on the side of
the car.

In anger, the man took the child's hand & hit it
many times, not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due
to multiple fractures. When the child say his
father.... with painful eyes he asked 'Dad when
will my fingers grow back?'

Man was so hurt and speechless. He went back to car
and kicked it a lot of times.

devastated by his own actions...... sitting in
front of that car he looked at the scratches, child
had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .

'Anger and Love has no limits, so let the river of
life flow in Limits so that this fresh water stream
is never scattered'

Be Lion in your own country-Nice One

In a poor zoo of India , a lion was frustrated as
he was offered not more than 1 kg of meat a
day.
The lion thought its prayers were answered. when
one day a Dubai Zoo Manager
visited the zoo and requested the zoo management
to shift the lion to Dubai Zoo.
The lion was so happy and started thinking of a
central A/C environment, a
goat or two every day.
On its first day after arrival, the lion was
offered a big bag, sealed very nicely for
breakfast. The lion opened it quickly but was
shocked to see that it contained few bananas.
The lion thought that may be they cared too much
for him as they were worried about his stomach as
he had recently shifted from India .
The next day the same thing happened. On the
third day again the same food
bag of bananas was delivered.
The lion was so furious; it stopped the delivery
boy and blasted at him,'
don't you know I am the lion...king of the
Jungle..., what's wrong with your management?
What nonsense is this? Why are you delivering
bananas to me?
The delivery boy politely said, 'Sir, I know you
are the king of the jungle ... but... you have
been brought here on a monkey's visa !!! '

Moral of the Story .... Better to be a Lion in
your own country than a Monkey elsewhere

Hope this brings up a BIG change in YOU

A Professor began his class by holding up a glass
with some water in it.
He held it up for all to see & asked the students

"How much do you think this glass weighs?"
'50gms!' .... '100gms!' .....'125gms' ...the
students answered.

"I really don't know unless I weigh it," said the
professor,

"but, my question is:
What would happen if I held it up like this for a
few minutes?"
'Nothing' .....the students said.

'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this
for an hour?'

the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the
student

"You're right, now what would happen if I held it
for a day?"
"Your arm could go numb, you might have severe
muscle stress & paralysis & have to go to
hospital for sure!"
...... ventured another student & all the
students laughed

"Very good.
But during all this, did the weight of the glass
change?"
asked the professor. 'No'.... Was the answer.

"Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle
stress?"
The students were puzzled.
"What should I do now to come out of pain?" asked
professor again.
"Put the glass down!" said one of the students
"Exactly!" said the professor.

Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they
seem OK.
Think of them for a long time & they begin to
ache.
Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you.
You will not be able to do anything.

It's important to think of the challenges or
problems in your life,

but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT is to 'PUT THEM DOWN' at
the end of every day before You go to sleep.
That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every
day fresh &strong & can handle any issue, any
challenge that comes your way!

So, When you leave office today,
Remember to

PUT THE GLASS DOWN!'

Good article about Heart Care!!

A friend of mine, who attended a Medical lecture,
wherein Dr Bhaskar Shah spoke on the subject of
HEART.

Dr Shah is a senior doctor and a director of
ASIAN HEART INSTITUTE MUMBAI, one of the premier
heart hospitals of India.

Having found the talk quite useful he prepared a
note on the imp points elaborated by Dr Shah to
share with near and dear ones like you.

The topic was DIL HAI TO SUB KUCH HAI ( IF YOUR
HEART IS OK THEN YOU HAVE EVERY THING ) .

These are the main points which I am trying to
narrate in the speaker's words :

        Facts abt the Heart

o Heart pumps abt 7200 Ltrs of blood every
day

o It never takes rest till we are alive

o Compared with other organs heart really
does very very hard work

o This particular area of medical science
is undergoing thru a sea change. There is a vast
difference in treatment if one compares 1970 vis
a vis today. Now barring few circumstances
angioplasty is equally good compared with open
heart surgery

o Due to modern day pressure the heart
problems have increased multi fold even in the
age group of 40 -- 45 years particularly
executives who have more table work and no
physical activity

        Reasons for heart problems

o Tobacco in any form. There is a myth that
if we do not inhale smoke or fluid of tobacco (
Gutakha ) then there is ++++++++++++++++not much
harm. This is wrong. The reason is tongue is very
sensitive organ of our body ( eg potassium
cyanide -- as soon as it is on tongue its effect
is immediate).

o No or very less physical activity.

o Cold drinks, pizzas, butter, oil, sugar,
salt etc etc

o As far as Indians are concerned --
genetically they are more prone to heart diseases
because

? Genetically body of Indians absorb food
very fast. The reason is one wants to store any
thing which is in short supply. India was having
situations of drought etc in the past and hence
long back people were eating more than need
whenever food was available. This made a genetic
peculiarity in Indians. Indians normally put
weight on stomach where as people in the west put
weight on butts.

? Normal Indian diet is very rich having
sweets, oil, butter, ghee etc

        Precautions / other points

o Pl do not try to interpret your
angiography blood pressure reports. A person with
abnormal angiography report can have god heart
and vice versa

o When facing heart problem do not walk.
Remain in relaxed position as far as possible.
The reason is that in the relaxed position there
is minimum load on the heart

o Normally cases of heart attack are
maximum at the time of early morning

        How to prevent

o Pl try to get rid of habit of tobacco in
any form. It's easy said then done and very
difficult. In the past you might have tried 100
time. Still no harm in trying 101st time.

o Brisk walk is very good for heart. The
ideal speed should be 1 mile per 15 minutes or 4
miles an hour ( or roughly 1 KM in abt 10
minutes). Unless one really walks fast , it wont
help.

o Physical activity and brisk walk do the
same miracle that by pass surgery does. When we
walk brisk -- to maintain blood levels our body
forces the heart to take more blood and in this
natural process few more new veins are created
by the body to maintain blood circulation. That
is exactly what is done by we Doctors by
performing angioplasty or open heart surgery ie
creating the path for circulation of the blood

o The best time to walk is empty stomach.
Evening time is better. Try to walk at least 5
time a week.

o Swimming and cycling are also equally good

o Eat healthy food like leafy vegetables,
fruits etc

o Abt 5 to 10 almonds and 2 wall nuts every
day are good for heart

o When a person with fracture comes to us.
What we Doctors do. By the help of plastering we
succeed in joining the broken bones. But whether
it gives guarantee that there will not be any
fracture in future. Similarly by doing heart
surgery we remove blood clots and fat from the
arteries. But if the person does not change his
life style then he is going to lend in the same
problems again

o Do yoga & exercises

o Even by doing all if you do not get
relief then it is advisable to take daily
medication.

You may forward it to your near and dear ones

Heart Attacks and drinking warm water....

This is a very good article. Not only about the
warm water after your meal, but about heart
attacks. This makes sense.. the
Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their
meals...not cold water...maybe it is time we
adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!

Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who like to drink cold water, this
article is applicable to you. It is nice to have
a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the
cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you
have just consumed. It will slow down the
digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the
acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the
intestine faster than the solid food. It will
line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead
to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm
water after a m! eal.

A serious note about heart attacks: You
should know that not every heart attack symptom
is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of
intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain
during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and
intense sweating are also common symptoms.
60% of people who have a heart attack while they
are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can
wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and
be aware. The more we know, the better chance we
could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets
this mail sends it to 10people, you can be sure
that we'll save at least one life. Read this...It
could save your life!!

**Please be a true friend and send this
article to all your friends you care about**

Cell fone gimmicks...dont know if it works.....

Subject: Cell fone gimmicks...dont know if it
works.....

THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD...

There are a few things that can be done in times
of grave emergencies.
Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or
an emergency tool for
survival. Check out the things that you can do
with it: -

FIRST

Subject: Emergency

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.
If you find yourself
out of coverage area of your mobile network and
there is an emergency,
dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing
network to establish
the emergency number for you, and interestingly
this number 112 can be
dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND

Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have
remote keys?

This may come in handy someday. Good reason to
own a cell phone:
If you lock your keys in the car and the spare
keys are at home, call
Someone at home on their cell phone from your
cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car
door and have the
person at your home press the unlock button,
holding it near the mobile
phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves
someone from having to
drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.
You could be hundreds of
miles away, and if you can reach someone who has
the other "remote" for
your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and
it unlocked our car
over a cell phone!"

THIRD

Subject: Hidden Battery power

Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are
expecting an important
call and you don't have a charger. Nokia
instrument comes with a reserve
battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your
cell will restart with
this reserve and the instrument will show a 50%
increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when you charge
your cell next time.

AND FINALLY...

FORTH

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key
in the following digits
on your phone: * # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This
number is unique to
your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere
safe. When your phone
get stolen, you can phone your service provider
and give them this code.
They will then be able to block your handset so
even if the thief
changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally
useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at
least you know that
whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.

If everybody does this, there would be no point
in people stealing
mobile phones.

A CUP OF COFFEE

Group of alumni, highly established in their
careers, got together to visit their old
university lecturer. Conversation soon turned
into complaints about stress in work life

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to
the kitchen and returned with a large pot of
coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain,
plastic, glass, some plain looking and some
expensive and exquisite, telling them to help
themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in
hand, the lecturer said: "If you noticed, all the
nice looking, expensive cups were taken up,
leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it
is but normal for you to want only the best for
yourselves, that is the source of your problems
and stress. What all of you really wanted was
coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for
the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."

"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and
position in society are the cups. They are just
tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality
of Life doesn't change." "Sometimes, by
concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy
the coffee in it."

So, don't let the cups drive you...enjoy the
coffee instead........
